My first flexible bracelet

Dearest reader,

as I promised, in this blog post you will see my first flexible bracelet. Beforehand I used brass bracelets for the stabilization inside. I was not satisfied with this method so I tried it without.

As you can see, the basis is the same as with brass inside – but the bracelet is flexible. You just have to measure the exact width of your wrist to fit perfectly. Do not forget that the clasp will give some more centimeters!

The clasp: You have a lot of possibilities for the clasp. In this case I decided to hand make a toggle myself, using the same beads I used for the embroidery itself. Once you have done it, the next time it will be a lot easier! 😉

You can also use a finished (bought) clasp, or you can use a button. You see, many many options!

In my next blog post I am going to show you my master piece!

Thanks for your attention.

My second embroidery bracelet

Dearest reader,

as promised, in this blog post I will show you my second embroidered bracelet. As I said before, with a brass bracelet for stabilization inside again.

This bracelet I as real looker – in the color combination pink / rose / white!

The center piece this time is an elephant which is opal. All other beads are plenty of different ones, different sizes and shades. This bracelet is definitely for someone who has a personality.

I prefer not to use brass bracelets (as I said in my last blog) but to embroider pieces which are flexible. Pieces with brass inside may not be bended! So if you like to try it, bend the brass piece before embroidering!

In my next blog post I will show you how a bracelet looks like WITHOUT brass inside.

Thanks for your attention.

My first bracelet

Dearest reader,

as promised, in this blog post I will show you my first embroidered bracelet.

I especially used these colors as I wanted to take part at a contest. They show the colors of Italy – red, white and green.
Inside of this bracelet there is a brass bracelet which I tried the first time. It is not easy to measure the bracelet, to cut out the fleece in this size and to embroider exact to the edge (you have to remind that you have to “sew” the fleece and the velour together). But at least I made it. 
I prefer not to use brass bracelets (you can buy brass necklaces as well) but to embroider pieces which are flexible. Pieces with brass inside may not be bended! So if you like to try it, bend the brass piece before embroidering!
Anyhow, I think the color combination is really fresh and makes me happy.

In my next blog post I will show you my second embroidered bracelet – and yes, again with brass inside. A really special color combination! See you…

Thanks for your attention.
